X3 IFTA ("the Service") is operated by X3 Fleet Safety LLC ("X3," "we," "us"). The Service imports your trip and fuel data, reconciles mileage and gallons by jurisdiction, applies current IFTA rates, and produces a file-ready quarterly return — and, on Autopilot, submits it to your base jurisdiction on your behalf.
Any tax owed under IFTA is owed by you (the carrier/licensee) to your base jurisdiction and is separate from the X3 service fee. X3 does not pay your taxes. You remain the IFTA licensee and the party legally responsible for the accuracy and timely filing/payment of your returns.
Returns are only as accurate as the miles and fuel you provide or connect. You are responsible for ensuring your trip records, odometer/ELD data, and fuel receipts are complete and correct. X3's audit checks are aids, not guarantees.
Per-quarter preparation and Autopilot subscriptions are billed as described at purchase. Taxes, penalties, and interest owed to jurisdictions are not part of the X3 fee. Autopilot may be cancelled at any time; fees already incurred are non-refundable.
X3 does not guarantee any particular tax result or that a return will not be audited. Where we agree to file on your behalf and fail to meet a filing commitment on our end, that filing's fee is refundable. Jurisdiction decisions and audits are outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, X3's total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including taxes, penalties, or interest assessed by any jurisdiction.
